Rodan

In the late 2000’s to early 2010’s he is credited, alongside DJ Bloom, as being a major influence in expanding the electronic music scene and culture in the region through their legendary Watchtower Wobble bass music event series, at which they invited international artists to their area to share both their music and culture through various forms of underground bass music. Constantly evolving, Rodan’s venture into vinyl DJing and vinyl culture quickly became his next focus. Sharing the passion and art became the theme of his monthly “BYO Record Night” where listeners were invited to bring their own records, or select them out of Rodan’s collection - a highly integrated and engaging series. Rodan teamed up with Gerry Waze to continue to host vinyl-only event nights in the area, ranging from house to drum & bass, italo-disco to dancehall. Rodan’s current interests have returned to the underground electronic dance music community, with psy-generas being his primary focus. Rodan is a co-promoted and label DJ for MINDCHURCH.
