This event is in honor and memoriam of Jason Rodriguez also known as DJ Smilee (NYC)
Dubbed “The Outlaw King of Brooklyn” Jason was loved by everyone involved with this event.
He may have single-handedly been the reason the electronic music underground stayed alive in NYC in some of its darkest days. New York’s electronic music scene owes this man a lot for its ever-evolving and growing culture.
The audio equipment powering this event was inherited by his closest friends and makes this dream possible. He is dearly missed.
Upstate New York, NYC, Albany, Florida, and beyond will never forget Jason J Falkner of Star Catcher Productions. We miss you and love you, Jay. We are bringing the party to you. If we are to catch the stars, we should probably use some altitude, and we certainly are.
