Leila always new she would have a passion for DJing when she was growing up in secluded Earlton, NY. She would later fall in love with Drum & Bass while in college and purchased her first set of Technics 1200’s in 2006, followed by stacks and stacks of records, and countless hours behind the decks perfecting her craft. Her first demo “The Great Conjunction” was passed on to the legendary DJ and turntablist, Jen Mas (NYC) who selected her as the winner of the title “Best Up & Coming Female DJ” in 2007. Later should would join Spread the Word Productions & Konkrete Jungle New Haven. She would also become the first female performance for Konkrete Jungle in Buffalo and Albany. She would help with the founding of Hydrotechnics Festival, and have involvement with DNBC (NY), Operation Breakbeat (CT), Bass Camp Recordings (NY) Currently, she is an active member of M.A.D.E. (MA), she has shared the stage with countless legends including Evol Intent, Freaky Flow, KRS-1, Infected Mushroom and more at countless festival and events across the country. The saga continues for one of New York state’s most iconic female drum and bass DJs..
